New Leaf Foundation operates through three strategic centres — each serving a distinct and vital role
in advancing the Foundation’s global mission of inmate empowerment and community restoration.
Together, these centres form an integrated network of impact that spans North America, West Africa,

The United States headquarters of New Leaf Foundation is based in Pennsylvania and serves as the
organisational, administrative, and fundraising hub for all global operations. The USA Centre is
responsible for:
• 501(c)(3) nonprofit registration, governance, and regulatory compliance
• Global fundraising campaigns, donor relations, and grant management
• Strategic partnerships with international development organisations and diaspora networks
• Communications, marketing, and global brand management
• Recruitment and deployment of international volunteer professionals
• Diaspora engagement — mobilising the Nigerian-American community to support NLF’s mission
• Advocacy at the international level for humane prison reform in Africa
The Pennsylvania office also hosts regular awareness events, fundraising dinners, and diaspora
community engagements that serve to build the Foundation’s support base in North America. Members
of the Nigerian-American, Kenyan-American, and broader African diaspora community in Pennsylvania
and surrounding states are warmly invited to engage with NLF’s mission.
The Nigeria Mission Office is the primary operational centre where New Leaf Foundation’s direct service delivery takes place. Working in close partnership with the Nigerian Correctional Service (formerly the Nigeria Prisons Service), NLF’s Nigeria team operates inside correctional facilities in multiple states, delivering the Skills Empowerment Academy, the Re-Entry Support Program, Prison Outreach Ministry, Free Legal Aid Services, and the Joseph Experience.
Nigeria is home to NLF’s most extensive range of programming, reflecting the acute need within the Nigerian correctional system — a system characterised by severe overcrowding, underfunding, and a historically high recidivism rate. NLF’s Nigeria office has been at the forefront of advocacy for reform
while simultaneously delivering tangible transformation at the individual level.

New Leaf Foundation’s Kenya Centre represents the Foundation’s East African expansion, bringing the transformative work of NLF to a new region with its own unique prison reform landscape and community needs. The Kenya Centre currently delivers NLF’s two flagship faith-based programs — the New Leaf Prison Fellowship Academy and the New Leaf Leadership Academy — in partnership with Kenyan correctional authorities and local church networks.
Kenya’s correctional facilities house tens of thousands of inmates, many of whom are young men and women who entered prison without strong community, faith, or identity foundations. NLF’s programs in Kenya fill a critical gap — providing not only spiritual care but the kind of structured leadership formation that equips individuals to re-enter society not just as rehabilitated individuals, but as community assets.

Plans are underway to expand the vocational skills programs — beginning with Digital Skills and Solar
Installation — to the Kenya Centre as funding and partnerships develop.
